Our
Story
Wellness rooted in performance, recovery, and Sabbath.
West Seven was born from something I had to learn the hard way: you cannot continually pour from an empty cup.
As a former collegiate athlete, I spent years pushing my body to its limits. Training, competing, studying, leading, and constantly striving to be better became my normal. I loved the discipline and challenge of athletics, but over time, the pressure to perform began to outweigh the importance of recovery. I experienced the kind of physical and mental exhaustion that makes you realize that being strong does not mean constantly pushing through.
Burnout taught me something I wish I had understood earlier: recovery isn't the opposite of performance. It is part of it.
My background in the sciences gave me another perspective. I became fascinated by the way the body responds to movement, stress, sleep, nutrition, and recovery—and how much our overall wellness depends on giving the body the opportunity to restore itself. My experience as an athlete taught me the practical side: what it feels like to ask your body for more, and what happens when you don't give it enough in return.
But my faith changed the way I understood rest entirely.
The foundation of West Seven is Sabbath—the biblical rhythm of working, resting, and remembering that our worth was never meant to come from our productivity.
The number seven represents completion and, to me, the gift of a day set apart for rest. Sabbath is a reminder that we are human beings, not machines. We were created to work hard, pursue excellence, care for our bodies, and serve others—but we were also created to stop, restore, and receive.
West Seven exists at the intersection of those ideas.
We curate fitness, recovery, and wellness products designed for people who care about feeling strong, capable, and well—but who also recognize that true wellness requires restoration. Every product is chosen with the goal of supporting a lifestyle where performance and recovery work together, rather than compete.
This isn't a brand about glorifying burnout, chasing perfection, or treating rest as something you have to earn.
It's about learning to train hard without forgetting to recover.
To pursue excellence without making it your identity.
To care for your body without worshiping it.
And to rest without feeling guilty for it.
West Seven is for the athlete, the active woman, the busy professional, the student, the go-getter, and anyone who has ever felt like slowing down meant falling behind.
Because sometimes the strongest thing you can do is stop.
Work hard. Recover well. Rest intentionally.
Live the rhythm you were created for.
